Sample Pack Approval: How Bulk Fabric Buyers Should Review Swatches Before Production
A clear sample review method for GSM, width, surface, transparency, fall, finish route and repeat-order confidence.
A Swatch Is Not The Whole Decision
A swatch helps with surface, touch and first impression, but the buyer should also ask whether the fabric is running, whether width options are available and whether the MOQ fits the order plan.
The sample review should connect look and feel with production reality.
What To Check In Hand
Review fall, opacity, surface shine, stiffness, stretch behavior if any, and lining need. For chanderi-like fabrics, transparency matters. For satin, surface defects and sheen control matter. For PV fabrics, drape and recovery matter.
Keep notes on the actual garment use: kurti, dress, co-ord set, shirt, uniform, lining, scarf or home textile.

Lock The Approval
A sample should be approved with a date, fabric name, image, width, GSM, finish stage and any acceptable tolerance. This makes repeat ordering easier.
If the order is important, ask for a production reference before full bulk so both buyer and supplier are aligned.
